Because people have no right to counsel as they navigate the complex immigration system, volunteers provide critical access to immigration justice. We mobilize more than 1000 legal professionals and handle more than 3000 cases throughout the Upper Midwest.
We provide training and support to legal professionals throughout the United States to represent asylum seekers, unaccompanied children, trafficking survivors, detained immigrants, and Afghan evacuees. Volunteers have access to online training courses, practice guides, and expert mentors throughout the case.
