This report focuses on women and the death penalty, incorporating responses to a March 2026 survey of World Coalition Against the Death Penalty members. Additionally, during the reporting period the CEDAW Committee highlighted discrimination experienced by women affected by the death penalty in its periodic reviews of Iraq, Japan, Kenya, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, and Thailand.
