2023 Volunteer Awards: Brittany Knutson

For more than three years, Brittany Knutson has interned and volunteered with the WATCH court observation project. Brittany initially connected with The Advocates in early 2020, and the first part of her internship didn't turn out as expected. Minnesota courts switched to remote hearings, creating changes and challenges for everyone. Yet Brittany was still there, monitoring proceedings for access to justice for victims of gender-based violence. Despite now living on the West Coast, Brittany continues to volunteer, creating daily court calendars for WATCH. Thank you, Brittany, for your dedication and ongoing contributions!
