In this NGO Parallel Event for the 66th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women, The Advocates for Human Rights and Humanitaire Plus will discuss maternity leave, sexual harassment, and women in leadership in the context of France and Togo. The Advocates will provide an overview of international legal standards on these issues. Dr. Choralyne Dumesnil, attorney at law and licensed in France and California, will discuss the policies in France, and Humanitaire Plus will follow with a discussion of the situation in Togo with respect to maternity leave, harassment, and women’s leadership. Panelists will close with proposed solutions.
