Advocating from Local to Global House Party
Type: In Person
Issues: Accountability , Human Rights Defenders , International Advocacy
Please join us to celebrate our local and international advocacy work. Human rights are experienced on a very local level. Internationally, we work with our human rights defender partners to document human rights at the local level in their countries and to bring international pressure for change. Here in the U.S., we're using an international human rights framework in our advocacy on issues like migrant rights, systemic racism and police accountability.
On April 26, we'll share with you some recent successes and stories about how we work to shine a spotlight on human rights problems - globally and right here in Minnesota - in order to hold governments accountable and create lasting change.
