This report identifies violations of the rights of children in Georgia. Although the State party
has taken some recent positive actions, including the ratification of the Convention on the
Rights of Persons with Disabilities and ratifying new laws, there are still many areas that
show a need for improvement so that children can exercise the rights that are set forth in the
Convention on the Rights of the Child.
