Marleni Pacheco-Omana
As Case Coordinator, Marleni manages client cases, including opening and closing cases, conducting intakes for UAC and trafficking cases, and participating in events such as detention visits and clinics. Marleni is also the primary point of contact for UAC and trafficking case clients.
One of the highlights of Marleni's work is helping people access immigration resources. Another highlight is providing pro se assistance to those who need help.
Many things motivate Marleni’s work, but one of her main motivations is fighting for immigrant rights.
Marleni has been an intern and volunteer with The Advocates since 2021 and became an official staff member in 2024.
Marleni graduated in 2023 with an associate degree in Political Science. She is a native Spanish speaker and speaks German at an intermediate level.
