Around the end of 2022, armed men who she believes are gang members associated with the gang leader Barbecue came asking about her. They even asked her directly if she knew who Ms. P was. They came asking about her two times. Around May 2023, she flew from Haiti to Mexico. She entered the U.S. using CBPOne. If she returns to Haiti, she thinks she will be killed. Her brother is in hiding in Haiti. Gang members have repeatedly called him and told him to stop his political involvement, or he would be killed.
