Case Summary: As a Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM) student, Ms. L protested for democracy against the military every day since the 2021 coup. Her mother teaches at a CDM school, which was raided by the military. At protests, military soldiers threatened and chased down CDM students. Ms. L has friends who were captured were shot, starved, and tortured by the military. She has heard of CDM students being tortured to death in the military, and she fears being sexually abused and trafficked as a woman in the military.
