First Friday Coffee & Case - Anti-Blackness in the Immigration System
Type: Virtual
Issues: Asylum , Legal Representation , Migrant Rights
The Black Immigrant Collective will be joining The Advocates to discuss the unique challenges Black and African migrants face in coming to the United States and to the US-Mexico border; the disparate treatment of Black and African migrants at the border and in the immigration system in the US; the double or triple criminalization of Black and African immigrants in the US; and other considerations for attorneys representing Black and African clients in the immigration system.

with group participants.
